When we are missing a customer in the Customer List, that we thought should have been there, there are 3 potential reasons why that Customer is not in the list:
- The Customer does not have the primary / targeted address in any of our bricks
- The Customer was not profiled or segmented and therefore it does not have one of the targeted segments for the Team
- The Customer was profiled and segmented, but the resulting segment is not one targeted by the Team
Even if a Customer is not in the list due to the above reasons, CEX360 allows Reps the possibility to Add a Customer to their List by clicking the Add/Edit Customer button placed below the Filters panel.
This is a 3 step process:
- Search the customer or account to be added
- Add / Update the profiling information for the customer and review resulting segments
- Review and Save the changes

- Search the Customer or Account:

- Input the MDM code of the customer or account to be searched
- Select whether we search for a Customer or an Account
- Click Search

- Search Results and Update Customer Profile
The Search results will display an error message if the customer is not found or is inactive

If the customer is found:
- Customer Full Name
- The Bricks in which the Customer has primary / targeted addresses - will show primary bricks if the master plan selected primary address option
- For each of the Segmentations assigned to this Team plan:
- The Segments in which the customer falls - if any
- The Profile Values for each dimension in that segmentation
From this screen we can understand why the customer was not in the list in the first place:
- Look at the Customer bricks and if they’re not in our territory, then this is the reason
- Look at the segments and if the customer does not fall in any of the targeted segment, then that is the reason they don’t show up in our Customer list
In this step if the customer does not have Profile Values on certain dimensions, we can add them. We can also update the existing values. By pressing Compute Segmens button the system will calculate the new segments for the new values introduced.
