Managing Business Unit Positions

Theory

A business unit position will have access only to the product plans and team plans of the teams inside its assigned business unit.

Practice

To manage Business Unit positions in CEX360 select Setup from the top menu and then Organization tab, then click on an existing Business Unit where the position will be added. We can add a new position by clicking the Add Business Unit Position+ ****button and we can also delete Business Unit positions by clicking the :delete-button: button corresponding to the position we want to delete.

To add a new business unit position, follow these steps:

  1. Fill in the Position Name;
  2. Assign the internal code for the position - can be used in relation to other systems, i.e. CRM
  3. Select the Role the position has, from the list of predefined roles
  4. Assign the user that will fill that position

To edit a business unit position, click on the desired position. This will open a form displaying all relevant information about that position. Make the necessary changes, then click the Save button. Once saved, the form will close and the list of business unit positions will refresh automatically to reflect the updated information.
