Overview
The Segment Insights feature enhances the Adapted plan summary by introducing a dedicated sub-tab called “Insights.” This tab provides valuable graphical representations to aid in understanding and analyzing different aspects of plan segments and their associated data.
Although identical looking with the Master Plan version of Insights, the key difference is that the Adapted Plan Insights charts only refer to the TARGETED customers

Insights Tab
Segment Effort Allocation
Structure:
- Customer Distribution: Displays the percentage of targeted customers from each customer segment out of the total number of targeted customers in the plan
- Effort Distribution (weighted contacts): Displays the percentage of weighted contacts from each customer segment
- For each numeric and decimal dimension(more information here) in the Plans segmentations (excluding personas), an extra column is added: It displays the cumulative percentage value of that dimension coming from the respective segment
- For each channel in the plan, an extra column is added: It displays the channel distribution for each segment and is calculated as weighted contacts of segment / total weighted contacts for the respective channel
Weighted Frequency by Segment
Second chart of the list is represented by the Weighted Frequency by Segment, and is a column chart based on the frequency data from Plan Guidance at Segment level
Structure:
- For each segment of the plan a column is added with the name as Segmentation: Segment representing the total weighted frequency (of brands) across all channels
Segment Groups Effort Allocation
The last one from the list is optional and is only available as Table view (read Q&A section for more details).
It has the same column structure as Segment Effort Allocation, and uses data from the Plan Guidance at Segment Groups level

💡
NOTE that depending on the position through which you view the Plan, the charts/tables will be calculated accordingly:
- a Global position (SFEM, BUD) will see the charts/tables based on the entire team’s plan guidance data
- a Rep position will see the charts/tables based solely on its own plan guidance data
