A dimension represents a type of attribute used in segmenting customers or accounts, such as height or eye colour. See Segmentation Components for more theoretical explanations.

Managing Dimensions

To manage dimensions in CEX360 select Setup from the top menu and then the Dimensions tab.

User Privileges for Dimensions

Users with the appropriate privileges in CEX360 can:

• View the list of existing dimensions
• Create, edit, and delete dimensions

Dimension List Overview

The dimension list displays the following details for each dimension:

• Name
• Description
• Type
• Display Type (for numeric dimensions only)
• Number of Levels (for categorical dimensions only)
• Actions

Below is an explanation of the Type, Display Type, and Number of Levels.

Creating a new Dimension

To create a new dimension press the NEW button in the upper right corner of the dimension list and follow the steps in the form that appears:
