Products represent the product promoted by the company and are a central element of the planning processes. Essentially the planning processes are about defining the marketing (promotional) mix for one or more products together with the resources and investment required to deliver that marketing mix.

The product name is the commercial name used by a company for the respective product. The products will also have the name of the active substance.

Sometimes the same product (active substance) can be used to treat multiple conditions and we call the use of a product for a specific condition indication, i.e. Amoxicillin (used here as a product name for Amoxicillinum) has an indication for treating infections which we may call Amoxicillin Infection and another indication for the prophylaxis of endocarditis which we may call Amoxicillin Endo.

In this screen we can see the list of products, indications and diseases already defined and we can create, edit or delete them.
