There are 2 potential actions we can perform on a Master Plan:

When either action is performed email notifications are sent to the appropriate people. If you want to inspect the design of the emails check the Master plan section of the ‣ documentation page.

Master Plan Submit

Submitting the master plan will take the plan in the next stage: depending on the system configuration this could be:

If the master plan goes in the Master Plan Review stage the reviewers will be notified by email.

If the master plan goes into the Adapt Plan stage all the Reps (MSLs) and Managers will be notified by email that the Plan Adaptation can now begin. Once the Plan is in the Adapt Plan stage the Reps and Managers in the team will be able to also see the Master Plan filtered at their position level.

The Submit (Submit Master Plan) button is at the top left of the Master Plan Summary page. Once the Master Plan is submitted no further changes are possible, until and unless the Master Plan is

The Submit (Submit Master Plan) Button is only visible when the Plan is in the Master Plan Editing state and only to the users that have permission to create and edit Master Plans.

Upon pressing the Submit button a pop-up window will appear in which we need to select one of the 4 submit options:

           Submit Master Plan Popup
  1. Do not preselect any customers(accounts) - when using this option no customer will be preselected by the system in the target list of the Rep(MSL). The Rep will see in the adapted plan all relevant customers (customers in the targeted segments that have the primary or targeted address in their territory) and they can manually add them to their target list, one by one.
  2. Preselect all customers/accounts from non shared bricks - when using this option the system will automatically preselect in the Rep’s target list all the relevant customers (relevant segments) that are in their territory but are not in bricks that the Rep shares with other Reps.
  3. Preselect customers/accounts targeted by REP in a previous cycle - when using this option the system will preselect all the customers targeted by the position in a previous cycle. In this case, we need to specify the cycle. This option will display in the dropdown only the cycles that have at least one finalized plan.
  4. Preselect customers/accounts profiled by position in the last months - When using this option the system will automatically preselect all the customers profiled by the Rep position in the last desired number of months. That means that when a new person comes on a Territory/Position, they will inherit the profiling done by their predecessor. Customers profiled by the position earlier than the desired number of months, will not be included. To support this option the template for uploading customer Profiling has been also updated to include the position that profiled the customer.

NOTE that when a brick is shared between multiple territories, the system cannot know which customer to allocate to which Rep and therefore the customers from shared bricks need to be manually added to the target list.
