Defines the WHO, WHAT, HOW of the plan:

  1. WHO we target, which customer or account segments
  2. With WHAT brands
  3. HOW - through which channels

                                                                            Master Plan Setup

                                                                        Master Plan Setup

IMPORTANT

  1. If our Team Plan has Inherited one or more Product Plans, then all this information will be pre-populated from the Product Plans information - see Creating and Accessing a Team Omnichannel Cycle Plan for more info on what gets inherited
  2. If our Team Plan has cloned a Team Plan from a previous cycle, all this information will be copied from the respective cycle plan
  3. If we create a Team Plan from zero (no inheritance) we need to fill in the details from this step

💡

Even if a Team Plan inherits Product Plans or clones another Team Plan we can still edit the information in the setup

Adding the relevant Information in the Team Master Plan Setup step

1. First we need to select the Customers and/or Accounts segments that this Team will target in the next cycle. Click on the Add / edit segments Button from the left hand panel to add new segments

image (3).png

  1. Select first the desired segmentation from the drop list
  2. Select from the dropdown the desired segmentation version. Click on view details to see the segmentation details in a new Tab
  3. Select the targeted segments from the selected segmentation using the drop list. We can choose multiple segments
  4. SAVE

💡

REMEMBER a segmentation defines what customers we segment (i.e. filtered by specialty), what dimensions we use and how we group customers in coherent groups (the segments). A segment is a group of customer as defined in a segmentation

⚠️

NOTE that in a plan we can add segments from multiple segmentations not just one

💡

The Link(:link-button:) Button next to each segment will open a new tab to show the relevant segmentation details

In the Who do we target? section we can see the segmentation’s name and version and, under it, the assigned segments. To view the details of the segmentation in a new tab, click the link button (:link-button:). If a new segmentation version has been created, we can click the refresh button (:refresh-button:) to update the segments to their new version. The refresh button is available only if the plan is in Editing state (the Master Plan is not submitted).

⚠️

When inheriting a product plan with older segmentation versions, the team plan will update the segments and personas to the latest version.

2. Second, we need to select which brands will be included in the plan, and for each brand we need to select the customer segments to which that brand will be promoted. Not all brands may be promoted to all segments. Click on the Add / edit brands Button in the middle panel to add a brand to the Plan.

  1. Select first the desired brand from the drop list

  2. Select the segments to which the selected brand will be detailed. Available segments are the ones added in the previous step

  3. SAVE

  4. Third, we need to select the channels that will be used by the Team to engage customers in the next cycle. Click on the Add / edit channels Button in the right hand panel to add channels to the Plan.

  1. Select the desired channels from the drop list. Multiple selection is possible
  2. SAVE

NOTE that we cannot add two channels that are related - one is the parent of another - to the same Plan as it would lead to inconsistencies further in the planning process
