To manage Teams in CEX360 select Setup from the top menu and then Organization tab, then click on an existing Business Unit where the team will be added. We can add a new team by clicking the Add Team + ****button and we can also delete teams by clicking the :delete-button: button corresponding to the position we want to delete.

To create and manage the team structure select the appropriate team from the list of teams in the Business Unit and we will see the screen below in which we can:

Team structure
A team can have one or more Observer positions which will have access to the team plans and product plans of the teams to which they are assigned. An observer position will have access to the plans created on all cycles. As opposed to a “Team” Position Type (i.e. Manager) or a “Single” Position (i.e. Rep) an Observer will have visibility on the entire team plan, from an individual (rep) level to the overall team level. Typically Observer positions are created for the users who need to be informed about the actions on a Team Plan but do not necessarily have active role in the team planning, i.e. a junior Brand Manager who we only want to have access to a specific team and the product plans assigned to that team and not all the teams and product plans in the Business Unit.
In order to be able to add an observer position, a role of type Observer must exist. We can add a new position by clicking the Add Observer Position+ ****button and we can also delete observer positions by clicking the :delete-button: button corresponding to the position we want to delete.

To add a new observer position, follow these steps:

A team’s structure and territory allocation can change from cycle to cycle, therefore when we view the structure or want to change it, we first need to select the cycle for which we want to view or change the structure.
We use the Select Cycle drop list to select one of the cycles already defined (see Managing Cycles)
